Experience That Fits

The Eagle County Assessor election is an opportunity to ensure that property valuation across our county is guided by strong leadership and careful analysis. My career has focused on managing complex systems, working with large datasets, and leading professional teams responsible for accurate and accountable decision-making. Those same skills are essential in an office responsible for determining property values under Colorado law. I am committed to bringing disciplined management, transparency, and consistent standards to the Assessor’s Office.

What Does the County Assessor Do?

The County Assessor’s job is to determine the actual value of property in Eagle County in accordance with Colorado law. Every two years, the Assessor’s office analyzes market data to estimate what properties are worth. That value is then multiplied by an assessment rate set by the state, and local taxing entities apply their mill levies to produce the tax bill. The Assessor does not set tax rates or collect taxes; the role is to ensure property is valued accurately, uniformly, and transparently.

Commitment to Fairness

The Eagle County Assessor’s Office plays an important role in ensuring that property values are determined fairly and consistently under Colorado law. If elected, I will work to maintain a professional, transparent, and well-managed office that treats property owners with respect, communicates clearly, and applies valuation standards uniformly across the county. My background makes me uniquely suited to lead a complex valuation office well.

Waving American flag with stars and stripes.
